Vista Grande operates with the support of volunteer committees that assist the Board of Directors in reviewing specific matters and making recommendations.

Community Committees

Committees do not act independently of the Board and do not make binding decisions unless formally authorized. Their role is to provide review, research, and structured input to support consistent and responsible governance.

Homeowners interested in participating in a committee may submit an inquiry through the HOA request system.

🔎 Committee Participation

Committees are volunteer-based and operate in coordination with the Board of Directors.

🌳 Landscape Committee

Purpose

The Landscape Committee assists the Board in reviewing the condition and maintenance of common area landscaping.

Responsibilities May Include:
  • Monitoring landscaping vendor performance
  • Reviewing maintenance schedules
  • Identifying improvement opportunities
  • Providing recommendations regarding plantings, irrigation, and upkeep

The Committee provides recommendations to the Board. Final decisions and vendor approvals remain with the Board of Directors.

💡 Streetlight Committee

Purpose

The Streetlight Committee assists in reviewing lighting conditions throughout the community.

Responsibilities May Include:
  • Identifying outages or malfunctioning fixtures
  • Reviewing lighting coverage and safety concerns
  • Coordinating reporting to utility providers where applicable
  • Making recommendations for lighting improvements

The Committee’s role is advisory. All financial or contractual decisions remain subject to Board approval.

🏗️ Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

Purpose

The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) reviews homeowner applications for exterior modifications in accordance with the governing documents.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Reviewing complete ARC submissions
  • Evaluating compliance with established standards
  • Requesting clarification when necessary
  • Providing approval, conditional approval, or denial recommendations

ARC review timelines begin once a complete submission is received.

All decisions are based on consistency with governing documents and established community standards.
